Venus Versa™ IPL Laser Hair Removal at Ethos MedSpa in Clayton, MO
We offer Venus Versa™ IPL laser hair removal treatments at our Clayton location. This device uses intense pulsed light to permanently reduce hair from virtually anywhere on the body.
The device heats hair follicles to damage them and reduce total hair growth. Venus Versa™ is a safe, comfortable, quick treatment, and it can also treat all skin types and tones. Most patients need six to 10 treatments per treatment area for the best results, with four to six weeks between each.
Lutronic CLARITYII™ Hair Removal at Ethos MedSpa in Chesterfield, MO
We offer the Lutronic CLARITYII™ hair removal system at our Chesterfield location. This high-powered device uses dual-wavelength lasers, including Nd: YAG 1064nm and Alexandrite 775nm, to eliminate unwanted hair. It features IntelliTrak™ technology that maximizes patient comfort, treatment efficacy, and speed.
Patients can achieve their ideal results quickly without any discomfort. The Lutronic CLARITYII™ delivers a safe treatment for all skin types and tones and can eliminate unwanted hair from both the face and the body.
Investing in Lifetime Packages
At Ethos MedSpa, we offer lifetime packages for purchase that can simplify your treatment process. These packages allow you to target a specific area of the body and invest in the ability to schedule any additional treatments for that same body area as often as you need in the future. The Lifetime Package covers the cost of any and all additional treatments needed for as long as you need them, so long as they treat the same body area.

The Treatment Process
Your Consultation
The laser hair removal treatment process begins with an initial consultation. We will meet with you to determine if this treatment is right for you and then design your unique treatment plan.
Preparing for Your Treatment
After we confirm your treatment eligibility, we will provide you with some ways to prepare for your treatment. Patients must avoid sun exposure for at least two weeks before the session so that there is enough contrast between the skin and hair color for the device to be most effective. You also need to avoid any type of hair removal method that removes the hair from the root for six weeks before your treatment.
Four weeks before your treatment, you must avoid using any depilatory creams. We do ask the patients to shave the planned treatment area for 24 to 48 hours before their appointment. Contact wearers must remove them before undergoing treatment.
The Treatment
During your treatment, we will outline the details of your treatment plan. Depending on which location you visit per your preference and our recommendations, you’ll undergo treatment with the Venus Versa™ IPL device or the Lutronic CLARITYII™. Both devices promote patient comfort with built-in cooling systems and can take as little as 15 minutes from start to finish.
Treatment times may be longer if we treat multiple areas during a single session. Most patients need three to six treatments, with six weeks between each when treating the face and four to eight weeks between each when treating the body. We will give you more details about what your unique treatment plan will look like at your initial consultation.
Post-Treatment Care
After your treatment is over, you won’t have to worry about social downtime, but you will need to avoid anything that increases body temperature, including excessive exercise, sauna use, and even hot showers for 24 hours after your appointment. We will provide you with topical product recommendations to use after your treatment.
Your Results
Once you complete the recommended number of treatments, you can enjoy smoother, hair-free long-term. Patients with a high contrast between their skin and hair color typically experience permanent results after treatments. Some patients may require yearly maintenance treatments for the best results.
